Kate Winslet's daughter Mia Threapleton drew comparisons to her mother at Cannes last week, but on Wednesday night, she was a spitting image of her The Phoenician Scheme co-star Scarlett Johansson.
At the New York premiere of Wes Anderson's latest film, Threapleton and Johansson twinned in strapless gowns. Both looks—designed by Elie Saab and Saint Laurent, respectively—featured asymmetrical gathered bodices.

Threapleton wore her hair in a slick bun, while Johansson's blonde tresses were styled in a middle part with loose waves.
Threapleton, who is Winslet's only child with director Jim Threapleton, accessorized with over $400,000 worth of sparkle. Her extravagant Boucheron jewels consisted of diamonds and white gold.
At the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, the up and coming actress channeled Winslet's 1998 Oscars look. Adorned with a gold branch-like embellishment, Mia's green Oscar de la Renta frock also featured a caped column skirt.

Winslet attended her first Academy Awards in a medieval-inspired green and gold gown with leaflike embroidery by Givenchy, echoing the color scheme and motifs of Mia's Cannes look.
Speaking to The Sunday Times in a recent interview, Mia revealed that her mother was surprised she wanted to become an actress.
“I remember her being quite caught off-guard, going, ‘Oh, really? Okay," she said. Despite this, Mia added that Winslet “was very, very encouraging" of her acting ambitions.
