Scarlett Johansson's New Curly Bob Is Her Most Drastic Hair Transformation

Is there any hairstyle Scarlett Johansson can't rock? Allow us to answer that for you: No. There was her natural chestnut-colored locks when she was first starting out in the industry, her blonde pixie of the 2010s, the golden hues to deep auburn pipeline, and so much more in between. And she wore them all like no other. Now, she's trying something completely new on for size—a curly blonde bob.

Johansson is currently filming her new project Paper Tiger, and her character has a real Stepford Wife look. In photos taken earlier today on set in New York City, the actress debuted a new crop of honey-blonde locks with sandy roots, styled in short, bouncy curls throughout her head.

The chop is quite a transformation from the 40-year-old's medium-length, caramel-colored tresses that she has been wearing the past couple years.

As for the rest of her beauty, Johansson's on-set glam further leaned into the '70s with a bright red lip, cat-eye eyeliner, and French tips. She sealed the deal with light-gray trousers and a periwinkle-blue knit polo layered under an off-white blazer. Peep-toe brown ballet flats, a dainty gold watch, a matching chain bracelet, layers of gold charm necklaces, and a diamond ring finished off the ensemble.

Last month, Johansson stepped out looking much more like herself to promote her other new film The Phoenician Scheme. She attended the New York premiere in a radiant tangerine-orange gown that featured a strapless neckline, fitted corset bodice, flowy floor-grazing skirt, and draping details throughout. The mom-of-two paired the centerpiece with black thong heels, a structural gold choker that featured two huge diamonds on each end, a smattering of rings, a dainty chain bracelet, and small gold hoop earrings,

As for beauty, Johansson's dimensional bronde hair was styled down in soft waves with a middle part. She wore bronzy makeup, including a subtle smoky eye, fluttery eyelashes, feathered eyebrows, pink cheeks, and a muted-red lip.
